Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with children and adults with a wide range of neurological conditions, physical disabilities, and mobility challenges following an injury. That experience has taught me that movement looks different for everyone, and that progress doesn't always look the way, or take the time we expect it to.
I created Onward Movement because I wanted to bring that personalized, hands-on approach directly to people in a place where they feel comfortable: their own home.

Stories of Progress
True feedback from clients and families who are reclaiming their mobility milestones.
“When we met Molly, my 18-year old son had been home from his 6-month hospitalization for about two weeks. As they say, that was the beginning of an amazing friendship. More than a therapist, Molly became a mentor and friend to my son who was struggling with so many aspects of his new normal - the grief, the sadness, the apathy, the loneliness - and Molly was there for all of it! After three years, to summarize her contribution to Henry’s life in this small testimonial is impossible. She will always be an amazing part of our lives and Henry’s recovery. She knew when to push, she knew when to support and she gave more than she should have. Is there a higher rating than 10/10 or 5 stars?”

Family member of Spinal Cord Injury Client
"Molly was one of the excellent team of trainers at Project Walk Boston. I have a spinal cord injury and consider myself fortunate to have met and worked with Molly. She is a gifted professional when it comes to working with individuals with disabilities. She listens carefully and learns her clients’ strengths and limitations by challenging them without being forceful and overbearing. She collaborates with clients to create a personalized training program that is effective in achieving forward progress. Molly has a gentle and kind personality with a fun sense of humor, that makes you look forward to working hard and reaching goals. She is very knowledgeable about body mechanics and approaches all types of disabilities with respect and understanding, treating people as human beings first who are not defined by their limitations."

C6-C7 Spinal Cord Injury
"Molly had such an incredible connection with my daughter, who suffered from a traumatic brain injury at the age of 15 yrs old. Molly always knew how to make her laugh while pushing her to be the very best she could be. She believed in her, understood her, challenged her, and made therapy something she truly enjoyed."

No. I bring equipment with me, and I'm also glad to work with anything you already have at home.
-
No - adaptive movement coaching is meant to complement your medical care, not replace it. Many clients train with me alongside their care team, or continue their movement work after formal, insurance-based sessions have ended.

Movement is something you maintain, not something you finish - like any physical practice, progress can fade if training stops for an extended stretch. If life gets in the way, tell me, and we'll figure out a schedule that actually fits for you.
